Foodie in Training?

My adorable goddaughter takes after her mom and aunties - she is a serious foodie. At the young age of 2, she knows what she likes and won't let anyone get in between her and her food.
Sometimes I find myself concerned by the sheer volume of food she consumes - but babies are supposed to be chubs. And for the most part, she eats pretty healthy - except when she's eating ice cream, her favorite.

I think these photos will provide sufficient evidence to my argument that the baby might just be the greatest foodie of them all.

Here she is in her highchair, contentedly eating. Everytime, I tried to get her attention she conveniently ignored me and continued to shovel pancit into her mouth.

Next thing I know, she's gulping down some fruit punch. She finished the entire glass in two gulps.

Like a true foodie, she relishes each bite. Look at that concentration! Amazing!
And she has no problems letting you know that you risk your life if you come between her and her food.
If you continue to bother her, she'll just zone you out by shoving her entire face into the bowl. I think this used to be an ice cream sundae.

As you can see, we have much to learn from my goddaughter. I think this little one is no longer in training and has surpassed us all in her eating skills.
